Suzhou river is the must-go spot for all the travelers, it’s not as famous as the bund but it’s the root of Shanghainese culture. In the 19th century, Suzhou river was the main canal for the region, people from upper river travel to Shanghai through this river. It’s no longer the canal for Shanghai, the city recreation department has been renovate the walking path for the better sighting experience.
This section of Suzhou river has a good distance for the Shanghai landscape view, plus the newly built path, it’s a great spot for photography, film production.
